Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced that China supports Uzbekistan's membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO). This was reported by "Dunyo" information agency with reference to China's "Xinhua" agency.
During his visit to Uzbekistan, the parties agreed to use the existing consensus between the leaders of the two countries as a priority to deepen mutual political trust and strengthen the connection of development strategies, as well as build on the achievements of bilateral relations and develop new developments. The minister said this in an interview with journalists at the end of his visits to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Uzbekistan and PRC have pledged to increase the annual trade turnover to 10 billion dollars and set new goals within the framework of the "One Place, One Road" initiative.
