Uzbekistan, Jordan to mark 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties in mid-February

Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov on Friday (February 3) received the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Demiye Zuher Haddad.

The parties congratulated each other on the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations as the corresponding protocol between the two countries was signed on February 15, 1993.

Besides, the Acting Foreign Minister and Ambassador reflected on the prospects of mutual cooperation in political, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres, with a particular focus on measures aimed at boosting trade, economic, and investment cooperation.

Organizational aspects and timing of joint activities, in particular the next round of inter-Foreign political consultations, were discussed.
