Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, on Saturday (February 18), met with Foreign Minister of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to express solidarity in the wake of last week's devastating earthquakes in the southern region.

Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Twitter expressed gratitude for the solidarity visit of Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
On the same day, Uzbekistan's top diplomat visited the Ovakent district in Hatay, where an Uzbek search and rescue team is stationed. In addition, the Central Asian republic has set up a field hospital.
